Sauces

Lots of sauces. We made hollandaise... alfredo... bechamel... Then we talked about sauces. *blink*
I think second term will be more exciting. xD

At least the Hollandaise and Alfredo were me-friendly. I avoided the bechamel... I'm just so sick of trying that chicken stock every time we make something with it. It tastes like hell to me! >.<

Oh, for homework, as well as reading/taking notes on two more chapters, we have to make a stinkin' family tree for all the sauces that branch off the the 5 mother sauces (Allemande, Béchamel, Espagnole, Velouté, and Tomato.) There are quite a lot of them and we need to memorize them in the next two weeks. ;-;

Well, I'm sure I'll survive. xD Need to get my memory skills in gear!!

TV night tonight. Baking day tomorrow. =)

  1. That doesn't sound very thrilling, but hey, sauces are damn tasty. So it shouldn't be so bad. ^^
